I just tested this out, the MXG Titanium Deep-Carry-Clip for the Native5 LW will fit the new Autonomy 100% perfectly, but you'll loose your lanyard hole. I tested it with the clip from my Rex45 Native5 LW... going to go order a black one now! :-)

They’re centered, have no blade play, and they fire hard. It would have been very difficult to do this without the $12 spring replacement kit.

Here you go . . . this is the clip on a Native5 LW (which it was designed for)


Here is the same clip on the new Autonomy2, as I mentioned, it's an absolute perfect fit.

Can somebody please confirm if this is 100% CF or a CF/G10 laminate? SMKW on youtube said it was the CF/G10 laminate: https://youtu.be/9cHKeTA7YkU

So what's the deal here? And is "peel-ply" just a description of the texture?

It is 100% Solid Carbon Fiber with a peel-ply texture for grip, its very nice! That YouTube guy misspoke, there is no G10 on this knife.

Yes, I ordered two of them, one for my Autonomy and one for the new St. Nick's exclusive Native5, but I ordered them before the St. Nick's knife dropped... based on my past experiences MXG will resupply their stock within a week or so. Just keep checking their (MXG) website... I will post up a pic here with it installed when it arrives, which should be mid-week based on the "it shipped" email I got from MXG a few hours ago.

I bought the MXM Native 5 clips for my two Autonomy 2s based on JMM's advice (thank you for testing that).

I also ordered 2 clips from PopsCustomClips on Etsy. He says he has the measurements for the Autonomy 2 hole pattern and will make them for me.

I'll report back with results and pics when I have the clips in hand.

I am curious to see more options for deep carry with this. Looking forward to seeing what comes in the mail to yall

Sorry for the long wait on pics of the deep carry clips I bought. I just received 2 of them today.



Top is the Autonomy 2 Carbon Fiber with an MXG deep carry clip made for the Native 5.

Middle is the Autonomy 2 G-10 with a deep carry clip from PopsCustomClips on Etsy. He made this specifically for the Autonomy 2.

Bottom is a Police 4 with a bright brushed version of a clip from PopsCustomClips just to show what it looks like.

The MXG fits perfectly and feels solid. The PopsCustomClips ones are more wiggly since they are less material and longer. Both feel good in pocket.

One piece of advice: I didn't try the screws that came with the MXG clip, but the screws that came with the PopsCustomClips clips were junk and stripped out quickly. Spent a couple of hours getting one out of my Police 4 with needle nosed pliers. Just use the original screws they came with your knife, they are strong and fantastic.

Any idea on the price point? If it's the same as the standard LC200n version, I think I'd rather have the LC200N.

I would also rather see s90v to go with the CF.

Question: So are the liners and hardware different on the production Autonomy 2 versus the SMKW? Would a simple blade swap make the SMKW model a salt?
