Autonomy 2 hardware

#1

Post by Rinzler »

I'd like to swap out the stainless screws for black screws on my autonomy 2. Does anyone know if the autonomy screws are common Spyderco sizes and/or where I can find such hardware?

Thanks

I'm sure many of Spyderco's knives that are made in the USA share screws of the same size and thread count. OTOH, threaded length, head type, and head diameter may very well vary between models. A black three screw clip and clip screws from another Golden G10 handled product that uses that style clip would probably work, but body screws would be problematic. I doubt anyone outside of Spyderco could tell you with certainty whether or not a given screw would work, but the ones most likely to work would be those from the C165GBBK black Autonomy. Still, even if you manage to purchase the clip and find suitable body screws, you'll still have a bright finished firing button, spring module, safety, stand offs, and liners.
