Such a nice design

I really like this knife. Also the button is the same diameter of the spyder hole in my native 5. I think that was intentional. It has a very strong spring and snap to it. The G10 makes for a very secure grip. I can actually close it easier one handed with my left hand. I feel like you can actually work with this knife. Definitely not a novelty auto. Like that I can even use the safety to lock it open.

Thanx much VashHash.

My design, but our engineering crew and Golden knife-makers did an exemplary job in production.

Sal i have to agree. You designed a very fine auto and Golden did an excellent job on this knife. The construction is very well thought out and I like that it's a compression lock instead of a button lock. Pretty smart using the compression lock as the spring for the button. Should last longer than a conventional spring.

My son just gave me the above-pictured Autonomy for an early Father's day gift!

If the blade is LC200N, are the hardware and metal handle materials also? I saw the the spring is listed as "corrosion resistant," just wondering about the rest of it.

Sal, I'm late on the response, but I wanted to let you know that you and the good folks in Golden did an amazing job in designing and producing this knife! It's my primary work knife, and feels like there is nothing it can't do. My son, a Coast Guardsman, picked it up for me to use as my work knife in my duties as a police officer. My hands aren't large, but it seems to fit mine and most hands perfectly. The action is flawless, and the blade goes without saying, perfect. It's so good to carry a made in the USA duty knife!

Have to agree, the only thing that could make this better is maybe magnacut. I'm starting to believe Magnacut is the new bacon.

Thanks for clearing it up Sal!
Also, does the spring assembly from a Autonomy fit the new model?
Yes, the spring assembly from the orange Autonomy with the chrome replacement pivot screw will work with the Autonomy 2. I just ordered a kit from SFO.
Wait what? They sell the assembly?
They do indeed. :) image.jpeg
I have 2 of those bags that I ordered the same time I ordered the knife (A2) and went looking for them. I have no idea where they are.
