I’m not a big fan of autos, but this one looks great!

Got mine yesterday and it's a beast! If you like out the side autos you will love this knife. Fit and finish is excellent. Compared to my Autonomy 1 I've noted that my 2 opens with less snap and I like that way. Both are robust knives and worth every penny IMHO. Get one you won't be disappointed. :)

Mine was finally picked up by USPS this morning...
I'm bad at waiting.

As far as i know it is a regular production model and so will be widely available. I might be wrong though, what do you mean by "drop"?

I think he means the retailers that had them available are sold out now.

Ah, ok but it *is* a regular production model, right?

Yes, it is a regular production model. Most of our autos were specific market designed, but now with many states accepting autos, I designed the Autonomy 2 to meet the broader general market that likes autos.

Thanks for clearing it up Sal!
Also, does the spring assembly from a Autonomy fit the new model?

How will the legalization of automatic knives in more states change the way warranty and repair is done with them? As I understand “restricted” knives were not to be sent back to Spyderco.

Yes, the spring assembly from the orange Autonomy with the chrome replacement pivot screw will work with the Autonomy 2. I just ordered a kit from SFO.

Just received my Autonomy 2. The fit/finish and action is superb! Another home run for Spyderco. Here it is with the rest of the auto collection:
