Thx buddy and i hope you will get a second chance on that one even if they would make a smaller version like they are doing with many of the etnic models it would be glorious! But i fear the Lightweight squad will do everything they can to avoid it seing the light of day again. Since wel its an amazing monster of a designManixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 10, 2022 6:59 amI forgot to say how much I admire the Tuff pictures. I thought I should add , I like how the Chinook 1 flattens out in front of jimping on the blade above the hole . Very nice touch of design . Dan

Thx buddy! Yes the chinook 1 “humpless” and i hope if there ever will come a chinook 5 they will go back to that.Manixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 1:08 pmI thought I should add , I like how the Chinook 1 flattens out in front of jimping on the blade above the hole . I still also Love my chinook 2 but wish they did not altered it there.
If you compare the 1 to the 2 its such a drastic chunk they cut of the blade. The entire bowie style is gone since they eliminated the upper swedge and made the flat part a hump.
I wonder if they changed it up because at that time the first persian was popular and they wanted the chinook 2 to be the big bad brother to that one?

I never really gave that a thought but in a way it makes some sense . Just a guess on my part but think the Persian probably outsold the Chinook . Dan
