Hello everyone. There are a lot of great pictures in this thread, and a some very nice modifications as well! I’m new to the forums but I’ve been a big fan of these knives for a while. Just got the new Stretch 2 XL in Cruwear last night in the mail, and I’m extremely pleased with it! The folks at Spyderco have done it yet again!
My main carry has been the brown G-10 Stretch 2 that I modified to have a straight spine, and it has been an absolutely wonderful knife. I was very excited to see this new model released, now I’m exited to put it to work and wear the new off of it. As soon as I figure out the whole posting pictures thing, I’ll put some up. Until then, keep ‘em slicey, people!

I didn’t include the stainless or FRN models in the picture, I’ll try to snap one with them all together

Hey Manixguy, here’s a closer pic of the modified Stretch blade. Sorry, the pic is about 5 years old now, and not the best quality. Really only the end of the blade is straight, so maybe not a “straight spine” but performs like one. I actually kind of like the swoop on the spine. Such a great knife!

Here's a 'modified' Stretch XL where I won't even be cleaning the blade off, you can see the metal dust where the engraving was done this past November... :smiling-heart-eyes

Very nice! There can’t be too many like that around, and I doubt anyone who receives one would ever part with it. Congrats, very cool!

Stretch 2 VG-10 with Suingab flame scales,

or is it a giant Spyderco Stretch sign somewhere in West Texas with a nice car sitting underneath?
