Spyders under a microscope

I decided to take a look at some steel under an old jeweler's microscope. These knives are all close to new with factory edges.
Manix 2, S30V
Native 5, S35VN DLC
Mantra 2, M4
This is my favourite. I love the champagne hue of this steel.

Those are some interesting images. Curious, I just grabbed a printer's glass off my desk and put my iphone up to it. Surprisingly (to me), I got a pretty good shot of the knife that was in my pocket. When polishing an edge, I use stronger magnifiers to watch the work progress. I can't wait to see if I can get a picture with that setup. Thanks!

That's right! I've had the Taichung Spydie as a Steam profile pic and Windows account pic for a long time now :p
