what the heck is this one called

can someone help? i have this old Spyderco. its the size of a Delica maybe a tad smaller. it has a strange clip on it. possibly a backpacker model or a lineman model. it clips perfectly to belt loops and D rings. it is made in Japan. it has G2 steel. there seems to be a rubbery inlay in the handle scales. it seems the clip is not modeled to the handle but attached with the pivot rivet. very sturdy and in good shape. see attached photos

It's a Snap-it. Have one of those as well. Prefer the Remote release though.

The inlay is made of Kraton, for more information about C26 Snap-It take a look ==> http://spydiewiki.com/index.php?title=C26_Snap-It

Yeah I agree Larry I've always liked the REMOTE RELEASE model much better myself. But I would recommend anyone to own both of them if they can swing it.

With the popularity of rock climbing and rapelling and so forth I'm sort of surprised that we haven't seen some type of new model along the lines of the SNAP-IT and REMOTE RELEASE models.

I would love to see a Hawkbill version of either one of them>> or a bigger version of either one of them would be nice too. Those are two models that I would only want in Spyderedge.
