No... just natural G10 which some call jade or ghost jade.OakTree wrote: Glow in the dark?

Every time I see your Lil'Para with that deep carry pocket clip it just is the perfect compliment to the design. All Lil'Para's should have that clip.
Re: Spyderco Delica Modified to a Lil'Para...
Thanks Steve! For most of my Spydies, I like deep ride clips, but on some models, the factory one is just fine. I can't wait to get my next set of scales from you!BOOMER52 wrote:Every time I see your Lil'Para with that deep carry pocket clip it just is the perfect compliment to the design. I'm confused. Is the blade itself modified or just the handle?

This is very nice.91bravo wrote:

The scales are modified, but you have to trim off about 3/8" of the front lower corner of the liners. Takes about ten seconds to do with a dremel and cut off wheel.

The knife is a modified Delica... the drawing might help you visualize the Delica genesis...

Re: Spyderco Delica Modified to a Lil'Para...
Moving into a smaller class of mill bits has allowed me to downsize some inlay material.
There isn't much design wise for laying out a Punisher skull on a scale. You try to make the best presentation with the inlay size on the scale real estate available. Try as I might I just couldn't get away from looking very much like the g10it Punisher scales. He does a phenomenal job with his work product. I'm always impressed with his machining skills. So as to not just duplicate his design the only thing I could do was to move the skull away from the heel and more towards the scale center.
OD green G10 with white G10 inlay... fan burst texture. Because the pocket clip would obscure a great deal of an inlaid skull I went with inlay on the presentation only...

Here's another... OD green G10 w/charcoal gray inlaid Punisher skulls and charcoal gray G10 back spacer.
I also machined a Punisher pocket clip in charcoal gray G10. You can readily see that the clip side inlay is obscured by the pocket clip... so the clip is more suited for a knife with a presentation side inlay only... otherwise the clip competes with the inlay for the attention. It gets a little visually busy...

Boomer, your work is excellent.
I like the way the normal Delica handle feels in my hand and in my pocket over the Paramilitary 2.
I know you do normal Delica scales, too.
