You may put those pics in the Dragonfly love thread.
I definitely prefer the newer versions for actual use. I just thought it would be fun to buy older versions of some of my favourite knives :D

Wow man, I really need to check one of these out. That Mantra handle looks like it will fit my hand much better than the Delica does, and that's the main reason I sold off all my Delicas.

I found the mantra handle awful until I sanded the flipper off. The handle is night and day more comfy now.

Oh wow, I didn't even notice that. That's why the handle looks so roomy. Ugh, maybe it's still not the knife for me. I need to handle one.

Terzuola's Starmate and Double Bevel.

Image

Image

When I ordered the Double Bevel, I thought it would be larger.
Instead, it is a handy, slim, medium sized folder.

Here is a picture with a Gayle Bradley 2 for comparison.
I thought the GB2 would be smaller, but it is larger than I expected.

Image

This side is presented so that the thumb hole cutouts can be observed.
The Starmate has a generous cutout and the Double Bevel is quite adequate.
The Bradley has no cutout. I'm getting better at closing it, but resent having to deal with it.
On the other hand, I must confess that while every Spyderco knife I received
has been sharp from the factory, the GB2 was the sharpest of all.

Idea: The new Mamba vs Positron. They are exactly the same materials apart from the mamba's TI liners. Also a mamba/delica/endura shot. More Mamba pics are needed!
:spyder: Turtles can have knives too, right? :spyder:

Almost needs a sheath more than a pocket clip.

Totally agreed. I remember the first time when I saw it and thought I wouldn't possibly have any practical reason to carry it.

Even though, I like it. :D
