Hi Rick,

I never just do scales, but strip down completely and rebuild .... in theory you can, and probably want to keep the knife open, and put some tape over the edge first .... Will be a little tricky to keep it all together as you need to apply force to pull the old scales off the lanyard tube.

Thanks,It kind of has that tactical cool look to it.

I'm really enjoying the knife.Kind of surprised their still on dealer's shelves.

The Manix is my son's favorite Spyderco.

Where have you found Micarta scales? I am having difficulty finding a set anywhere online.

Todays carry, and the only Manix I own at the moment. Hoping to snag an M390 one in the next few days :D

I just can't leave these Manix's as they are! Have to admit, I like them all even better now :D
