The C95 original Manix. It was a real beast--the backlock equivalent of the modern Manix 2 XL.

Which reminds me, I'm not sure if I have posted this mod in this thread yet. It's a C95 original Manix in micarta and natural G10.

Ripp's Garage OD anodized alloy scales on my DLC M2....hanging out on my 1Vietnam War period 51st Infantry display ;)

Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

Very nice scales. Are they any lighter than the G-10?

Nope- a little heavier actually- which is no suprise as Al Alloys have a density of around 2.8g/cm3.....G10 is around 1.8g/cm3.

Nice rough grippy texture to the anodizing though- be interesting to see how they stand up to pocket wear.

I don't have a photo of all of them but here are a few of the high points. I have 4 different Manix 2 models and 2 different XL models.

Nice trio. The Knifeworks XL and DLC are the same two XLs I have, and the Cruwear M2 is great too -- a Cruwear XL to go with them would be nice.
