Nickel plated Colt Detective Special, purchased new in 1966, hammer dehorned by me shortly thereafter. I soon got tired of the factory grips, didn't like any that I tried, and finally settled on taking a really oversize set of Herrett thumb rest target grips, shaving them down considerably, angling the butt, then finishing with Linspeed oil. Think they've stood up pretty well, as has the gun. It has probably had a couple thousand rounds through it, over the years, not counting the plastic practice ammo.

Figured it needed some more wood to keep it company, hence the Cocobolo Stretch, courtesy of Sal, and the end grain black palm Kiwi, customized for me by Tonydahose.

David, took it out again this morning and it is very accurate. One added "plus" with this one is that it came from the factory with a threaded barrel, a nice extra feature. Wish I could find a better source for 22's than local off the shelf stuff. Still hard to find 22 here...

I have been carrying this fine side arm everyday since receiving my CCW, love the CZ 75 BD! I highly recommend it! Sorry for the poor quality, I was just browsing the thread and thought I should join in the fun :)

Knife or pistol?

Kel-Tec .380 P-3AT with belt clip next to Spyderco Stretch.

Never tried carrying the Kel-Tec in a front pocket like the picture but had it buried deep in my waistband behind my right hip at an auto salvage yard in a rough part of Houston one day. Two men in line behind me at the counter were whispering when I heard one say, "No, man, that's a knife." I turned and smiled at them and gave them the Texas nod. Their expressions were priceless.

A small, stainless steel pistol paired with a small, stainless steel Spyderco for a "sharp" dressed man.

Seecamp .32 with ClipiTool. As an added bonus, the screwdriver tip on the bottle opener is exactly the right size to remove the grip screw on the Seecamp.

A brace of Rugers, I should think so. Is the one on the left a .327?
