Ken
Nice rifle, is it a Winchester? What year was it made?

Iโ€™ll have to post again and show mine off.
( sorry couldnโ€™t get a good pic but, itโ€™s a mid 1920s Winchester model 94 in about the same condition )

Very nice. Can't beat a Colt Series 70. Novak (?) front and rear sights for extended sight radius. Extended beavertail grip safety with palm swell. Skeletonized hammer and long skeletonized trigger. Wilson magazine. And maybe more under the hood, but inquiring minds want to know. What is that fluted rifle barrel attached to?

Good eye! Yes it's got some mods. Bart-Sto barrel and bushing, Heinie sights front and back, Wilson Combat- trigger, beaver tail, hammer, main spring housing, extractor, recoil spring. VZ Grips, Irv at Bar-Sto also lowered the ejection port, installed barrel and did all the internals, and reblued it. I forgot to add the Irv also cut in the Heinie sights. And on the other side its marked "100 Years of Service". Bought it back in 2011.

The rifle is my Weatherby SVM 22-250.

Snapped a pic of the 22-250 for ya! I was putting out some salt and checking water. Oh yeah, and I missed a friggin coyote! He was about 300 yards on the run tho.

So that's what you call my style of hunting :D

My grandfather just gave me his father's Mossberg 500A 12ga. I believe he passed away when I was one or two years old, I'm twenty-eight now and I'm not sure when he purchased it. I'm planning to harvest some dove with it this season.

Earlier this year, I found a Savage Model 24 .22lr over 20ga at Cabelas. Wasn't going to pass it up, even though I would rather have a .22lr over 12ga. I'm also looking forward to dove season with it this year. It busts clays just fine.

Good luck with dove season.
The krump of a distant shotgun drives my little dog into her pet carrier.
I tell her she will be okay as long as she does not fly.

Haha thanks Mad Mac. I used to have a black lab mix that was terrified of gun shots.
