I only have one micarta on a folder, from one maker. It is little more slick for a knife like the PM2. Although, once you get it litte wet, it does get a lot grippier.

I do like the terotuf. As the fibers are more exposed, it does provide more texture and grip, and has a slightly softer feel to it.

So between these two specifically, I prefer the terotuf. Micarta has been around for a while and does seem to hold up well. Time will tell how the terotuf does.

These three have taken over the PM2 rotation. I realy need to stop buying this model! I did pass on a few recently. Although I am seriously considering getting a backup of the K390. I don't have a single duplicate in my collection; strongly against it as there are so many great knives. Dat K390 PM2 tho...
