Thank you , I oiled the PM2 yesterday again and let sit for 24 hours . I really don’t think there was a change in color to be honest . I did it hoping it may soak in a bit deeper . I have it in photo contest if you want to compare . Off the subject I really like your signature of one of our greatest presidents. In the NRA Museum room at Bass Pro in Springfield, Missouri they have his Colt 32 auto he kept by his bed and his Rough Rider revolver there , made my day . Dan

I think if you would do a long term carry challenge the PM2 may grow on you . I have only three in collection that are very specific. Something very special would have to entice me to buy another . I really like them but strive to have more variations of different models . Dan

I know that mine grew on me more because it's a rough and tumble knife that will take anything you throw at it (except using it as a pry bar). Carry it for a couple of weeks and don't be afraid to put it to work.

It's a great frickin knife! Personally, I made the decision some time ago that I just preferred the Endela. Same edge shape and length. Thinner stock and handle.

As I did the Endura Jeff, but if I were in a SHTF situation, I'd gladly carry my PM 2. As a matter of fact, I'm headed up to my sock drawer and committing to a 90 day carry of mine starting right now 👍

I've done this for a week already ^^ I do not carry it exclusively, and won't be able to at work when my break is over, but I'll try to reach for it as much as I can for three more weeks.

Yeah, I'm with you. I evolved to the Endura. More edge and not much loss of anything else (assuming no legal constraints for the carrier). Just recently pulled the trigger on a Pac Salt and do not see going back.

On the Endela PM2 comparison the edge profile is almost identical if not identical. Over those two, my preferences fall to the Endela.

Sorry guys, I did not mean to side track this thread. This is an a dedication to the PM2. Which deserves all respect on the knife community. It is an excellent example of Spyderco goodness IMHO.

Oh no Jeff, not at all. That's what the forum is all about.

Dan, it's been something I've wanted to do for awhile. I keep getting sidetracked! 😂
