Depends what that is...it's not really that bad compared to a lot of the more recent and upcoming releases. Looks like it will be about $145 or so. The same shape as the original model but made with hard plastic screwed on the blade, with soft plastic over for a good grip. Also, it can be possible to remove the handles when your dog catch your knife and bit the handle (that's what Sal said ) ,what it was impossible to do with the old models.
Spyderco is not sure about the steel to make it, I understand Gin-1 like the ukpk lightweight but I'm not sure.
