A few shots at the Beach
A few shots at the Beach
I took a break from work and went down the beach to try to catch a picture for the calender contest. These are a few others I took.

Thanks for all the compliments. These shots were taken between Anaehoomalu Bay and Waiulua Bay just south of the Hilton Waikoloa.
I don't have a true macro lens but this is with my Canon 24-70L f2.8 you can see the pit at the top of the hollow grind.
After a year of pocket carry here in Hawaii I had zdp189 develop some pitting at the tang I am not sure how long the M4 will last. I thought I had wiped the Gayle Bradley good after I took the shots but yesterday I noticed the tip where I had stuck it in the log had some suface rust so I buffed it out with some Flitz and oiled it up. Can't worry too much since its a user and it did have a blemish from out of the box.VashHash wrote:Get that gayle bradley away from the saltwater. What are you thinking. Put it in pocket. I'll keep it safe. Nice shots with the sunset

Thanks, Actually if you look at the one I used for the calender contest both his eyes are up. His right eye had some sand on it so it was down when I took this picture. I was trying to get a picture of one of the bigger ones with the salt but they wouldn't cooperate. This is a picture of one of them. Just a little wierd looking, not sure how they taste. :Ddem0n1k wrote:haha i love the pic with the little sand crab cocking it's eye at the nearby blade :D
