I made a ridiculous resolution, to buy only one knife this year.
Is that possible? Anyhow in my job the knife I carry see's mainly boxes,
boxes and more boxes that either need busting open or cutting apart
for recycling. Also, I wanted something that would be fun and different
so I decided on this one...

I was thinking you would have done a PPT, but that one works too.

Is there a 12 step program for this 1 knife a year thing or are you just torturing yourself?

Is the pin on the spine of the knife just drilled and tapped in? It's so funny they made that knife like that...i swear i had an idea for the exact same thing back when i first joined this forum and i was playing around with zip ties.

Thanks you guys for your support.

Yeah I'm just torturing myself, I think, with this resolution, but the payoff is big, a signed
card from the family saying they didn't think I could do it? :)

The pin, apparently is threaded, so it does come out according to Spyderco. It's a great
feeling knife in hand, seems to be comfortable in any position, and is a fun knife to play with, that along with it's functional, slightly hooked blade is why I purchased it.

My resolution was to quit smoking, I got it easy compared to you.

Confirmed.

What are you going to sharpen it with?

P'Kal is just about my favorite knife ever. Taking the pin out is NOT a bad idea--I've found that the slender pin gets caught up in my pocket lining and causes, from time to time, accidental partial deployments which also, from time to time, cause cuts.
