Taken today with a 40x binocular camera inspection system. A Native S30V, M2 154CM, D4 Wave, Honeybee, and 204 Fine Stone after some useage. Not the best pics, but holding steady @40x is quite the trick.
All blades factory new, unused. But I couldn't resist so I ran them over the fine stones. The most apparent is the D4 blade, where I believe you can see the scratch marks.
Still have a lot to learn about sharpening, but all blades took hair off my arm. :D

I've been wanting to get a jeweler's loupe but honestly i think i would obsess over my edge too much if i got one. I've got it bad enough feeling for the slightest burr with my fingernail.

Cool beans, javascript!!

Holding steady can be helped using one of the grandsons of another Sal Glesser invention.

(Don't know why we didn't think of this yesterday....we have enough of 'em in the shop..DOH!!)

Helping Hands appear to be directly descended from Sal's original Portable Hand patented in the 70s.

Despite chiknives23's request, I hope you shredded the pics of my old Rookie's edge with the blood in the serations. Can't be leaving a forensic trail that would implicate java prime now, can we...... ;)
