Thanks, Brad. Unfortunately, Angle Guide could only be purchased exclusively thru Spyderco and it's out of stock. Maybe Sal and the crews would update the Guide. We'll see :) .

Composition just refers to what you are actually taking a picture of. How you as photographer "compose" the image. A good example of what I was referring to is the last image of the Chinook where the camera is focused on the very tip of the blade while the rest of the knife stretches out of focus into the background. A technique called selective focus that just makes the image pleasant to look at.

Don't misinterpret, I am certainly no expert. Just a tiny bit of exposure (haha) in college.

wec12 wrote:Well, Terzuola SlipIt is my first and only non-locking Spydie, so I can't compare it to other non-locking Spydies. T utilizes tiny metal ball on each side/handle, same as detent balls on my Sage II and Leaf Storm. One-hand opening is typical and the blade of the T stays closed securely in the pocket due to two strong detents.

Hope it helps, Evil D.
Ok...how would you compare thumb opening effort to the opening of a typical backlock Spydie?

Just dug out my T only for you, sir :p .

I used Caly 3 as a comparison. At the initial blade opening stage, I definitely applied more force when opening T. The force applied initial opening T is like the STRONG F word (used when you're arguing :p ); once past, just typical. For Caly 3, the force for initial opening is like the word DXMN (used when you see a hot girl passing by, just like in the movie :p ; a little strong/resistance but not as STRONG as F word). Hard to put in the words. Hope you understand :D .

Crap crap crap. I think I just spend $500 dollars or more in my head looking at this thread with your awesome pictures. I also developed a severe inferiority complex in regards to the quality of the pictures I take with my dSLR. haha

All kidding aside thank you for taking the time to put all your pictures online. Do you think you could at some point take a picture of your light tent setup so I can get a visual? That Leafstorm is a beautiful knife...*runs off to Google to see how much it costs*

Awesome pictures. I agree with ninemm (nice name by the way). There are several in there that I didn't think that I wanted until now.
