had the stretch 2 for a while now but i never really liked the ratio of blade to handle or how shallow the blade sits in the handle. i ground down the part of the backlock on the inside that stops the blade so it would sit farther into the scales, i removed the swell at the bottom of the handle and sanded the finger choil lump to make it a little less extreme also. the footprint of the knife is now much smaller and i like it a lot more. nothing was affected functionally.

Hmmmmm I like it. Because it looks like a para 3!

I really like the S Bowie, great slicer, greatly finished blade, slim handle. Too heavy and too long for me.
Shortened the blade to a clip point and shortened the handle to match. Fabed a clip of titanium. To lightened her up, fit a G10 scale. This one is a apple slicer now. :)
Note, I don't recall seeing a finish like this one on any Spyderco before.

Boomer52 Verazanno scales on a Warnie with a custom finger choil and a Ripp’s garage Ti clip. It has a mini R2 vibe with a high end feel. Boomer you do magically things with scales!

Tip up converted Military... coarse black peel ply... all hardware with the exception of the pivot D-bolt changed out for button head hex stainless...

belt grinder wheel and sandpaper
