Here's my latest. I just wanted a bit more point on my Jester, so...

I was playing around with it today and realized I didn't need the front jimping plus I wanted it pointier.

Awesome job!

May I ask how you stonewashed the blade? I'm looking to do something similar on my UKPK

Bump to top with a couple new entries...

Did some spine work on the Purple one. Now it is curved and "gentlemen-like".
Image

The green one received some lock-bar file work (going to a new owner soon).

My "mods" arent as complex as some shown before, but nevertheless:

Just filed of the "hump" on the choils, and adjusted the backspacers, to allow the knifes to be a little slimmer when closed.

Got rid of the fool-tip on the Delica and did a scandi grind on the Endura, worked out pretty good!

Cool stuff, thehunt. That is one polished Scandgrind! Looks sharp. Do you have a closed picture of the Ladybug, and how did you adjust the backspacer? Thanks for sharing.

Hey, thanks a lot for the kind words. I guess I need to make a workshop video to show my stuff (LOL...I have no work shop, I usually do this stuff on the patio as my kids play around me). Honestly, it is not anything impressive. The videos I have made (link below) were either done on the patio, or at my kitchen table.

For the lock bar embellishments you see here I used a couple (2) small files, a small vice, and a T-6 driver (to remove the lock bar). That is it!

Before I cropped this image, you could see my kids playing in the background. I had to stop work several times to fill water balloons. This work is relaxing (like sharpening), I find myself taking frequent breaks to enjoy family and surroundings.

My entire list of knife-warranty-voiding tools is a bit more lengthy, but still it is pretty basic stuff.
Thanks,

I did some file work on 2 spydies with some inspiration of Units file work.

I also rounded the spines of both blades because i was planning to do that on the delica for some time.

Nice work friend! I pretty much guarantee those knives will become your favorites now (if they were not already).

I have some really expensive stuff that is nearly meaningless compared to my 60 dollar Endura/Salts that I hacked up.

I thought I posted these the other day, but it appears I did not.

New more aggressive jimping on the Pacific Salt (with an ever growing list of modifications).

The edge on this thing has been changed again too, but I can not photograph it. I lowered the angle below 15 per side and have polished it to hair whittling. I am really becoming impressed with H-1 more every day. I consider this knife my mad-scientist knife (I will try all sorts of crazy experiments with it).
Thanks,

Now you won't be able to strike them on a fire steel.

Only one so far, I'm happy with the rest and see no need to mod them.
