Re: Show your mods!
Boomer, may I ask you if your scales for models like Delica and Endura, especially those Millie-style, alter the action at all? I'm presuming no, but just wondering.

Re: Show your mods!
I own a set of para mod delica scales from boomer and they don’t alter the action and in fact came with a metal post to replace the plastic piece so has improved the disassemble process ten fold

No alteration or change to the action as the scales are nothing more than clothing for the knife frame. Think of it in terms of the human body... would changing out of a pair of chinos and a button down shirt for levis and a t-shirt affect your skeletal actions...? Nothing externally effects the internal workings.
That's just my opinion with absolutely no scientific basis of fact to back that statement up!

Re: Show your mods!
I'm partial to Wharncliffe blades however Spyderco's Delica and Endela Wharncliffe blades are lacking the proper aesthetics in my opinion. I'm not equipped for metal work so I did some playing around in PhotoShop and arrived at something that I really like and want to pursue for a blade MOD...

Re: Show your mods!
I checked out the link you posted and was surprised... the blade mods are virtually identical! It's one of those independent co-development occurances much like Alexander Graham Bell and Elisha Gray with the telephone as I've never run across a Yurco Wharncliffe previous to visiting the site just now. The Yurco Regrind it is!resonanzmacher wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 11:08 am

I hope these pics and video work. Modded the Manix to remove the enormous hump, and thinned a bit. About the same width as the native now. Much better in the pocket.

Re: Show your mods!
Continuing to evolve the Wharncliffe profile... this is a lesser mod and the tip is not as fragile. Endela/Military Wharncliffe... toxic green G10 with fluted texture... forest green G10 back spacer.

Re: Show your mods!
Can you tell us about the bigger, darker Spydie logo on the blade?
