Whoops - indeed it is a Squeak! I think there's something about the alliteration in "Pink Pingo" that catches me up every time. Say it three times fast: PINKPINGO PINKPINGO PINKPINGO! :D

I made this handle and have had to repair it 2 or 3 times because one or both scales have seperated from the backspacer. I used 2-ton epoxy. Don't know why the glue didn't hold. USAKnifemaker's said un-mixed epoxy has a shelf life. The glue is about 3 years old I think. So this time I put pins in the rear of the handle. I cut small grooves in the pins and also ground grooves on the inside of the holes for epoxy to fill. I'm hoping this will hold. Anyway, here are pics of the one-piece handle for the D'fly2 with pins.

I am hoping this handle will stay together. :)

Well took 2 days to read this thread from beginning to end,and glad i did :)
Really nice work everyone! Thanks for sharing!
Some really beautiful knives here.
-It was fun to see Jackknife's work progress, and I must say that your desert ironwood Df,and Kirinite Sb Df look great!
-Ted your work is fantastic,I would love to see what you could do with some real nice Purple Heart wood.
I have also enjoyed all the stonewashing,bead blasting,re grinding,Ti flaming,Rit dying,G10 milling,and acid etching.
But most of all I love all the support and positive posts from everybody involved.
Your a great bunch of guy's.

Got a great deal on a Flatbyrd but I hated the grind so I finally got around to re-grinding it! Nothing too fancy just worked it on my 2x42 but I like how it turned out. Slices like a laser now too, much thinner than it was before but haven't measured it yet.
