Can't say I'm much of a collector anymore. I just happened to stumble into 2 of these at once. Both are going to new homes and the blue one maybe there today.

Not much of a mod compared to others, but a mod none the less
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Matt It's only a weapon when it is pointed with intent, until then it is simply just a knife.

Tactical Sage 2 :p
I sand blasted everything. The handles feel like my Seb. They even sound like they do on youtube videos. You know the chalky sound.
I also blasted my tiger striped para 2 I posted a few pages back. I'm experimenting with the tumbler now. The edge is going to be crap when I get done :o

GD73, I like that. Reminds me of a Delica 3 blade shape.

Saturday night tinkering
http://youtu.be/Xx7rsKwGCDo
I ended up sanding back to natural color after the video and then heated up random areas to produce to coloring in the pics now. I've been experimenting with oil patterns and got some really cool ones but still experimenting :D The neat part is you can start over and over and over.
The sandblast looked awesome so I did my para 2 and it rusted immidiately the next day at work. So I wet sanded both sage and para blades to the finish show in these pictures

I've actually had some help from a friend and skillful weapons coating expert to make this one of my favorite knives to carry ..
I hand sanded the liners to remove all sharp edges and ugly bits and he took care of the Orangeness (^;
I could not be more pleased .

I said it once but that has to be the sweetest Spydie mod i've seen yet. Those scales are soooo beautiful.
