I hear these are very rare and Japan release only? I would like to see any pictures if anyone has one :) I could not find a picture but saw it talked about online.

There's one picture here: http://www.angelfire.com/trek/spyderwa/
If you go a little down on the page.

I believe the gentleman who owns the site is a member here.

i would be very wary of a spyderco that was issued with a white handle, with a little bit of RIT dye, i could come up with a plethora of "rare" colored handles. we have been dying our lacrosse heads here in md for years.

What if it weren't an FRN model?

I tried to respond to this earlier and got disapproved for some reason? So if I am approved this time I just wanted to say funny enough I think I was the one who purchased the exact rainbow Cricket you sold. There's a distinctive spot right at the tip on the right side of the blade that looks the same. Let me know if anyone wants to see more pics of this guy

I actually had one as a teenager. My dad got it for me here at the factory in Colorado. I then proceeded to lose it about 2 years later. I still think about that knife, I loved it because of the titanium rainbow coating and I had no clue it was rare. I didn't even know knives were rare, heck I was a teenage girl. Obviously I've never been able to replace it and still regret not being more careful with it. RIP my girly rainbow cricket!
