Hello all, brand new to the forum here. I have had the below Delica for many years and many uses and have always loved this knife. I don't know how old it is but it had the plastic molded in the handle belt clip that eventually broke off and I sanded it down to make it a pocket knife.

The reason for joining is that I just purchased another Delica Wharncliffe and it should be here in the next few days. Will post up a pic of it to when I get it. Looking forward to learning about these wonderful built and useful knives.

Beautiful picture ! I normally go for larger knives until a friend gave me a Wharnie Delica. I was surprised how much I liked it , now I have a small growing collection. :) Dan

This Delica is my only Spyderco with aftermarket scales because of a mishap where the original black FRN scales were melted.

🤣 Random melting mishap.

Those scales are really sweet!

It was gob of molten steel.

The scales were about $25-30 on etsy I believe.
I figured the high-vis yellow will match all the clown colors that I'm loosely expected to wear at work.

I pretty much live in a high vis vest the 52 hours or so a week I work, besides meetings. Nothing beats that shoulder velcro snagging your beard when looking over your shoulder on a forklift haha.
