EXCELLENT !

Nice one Paul, all the current talk of Kopas made you take the family photo :p

I still love your Linda Karst scrimshaw on the Evrina mate ..... it just looks like it belongs there :D

I'll have to add my own family photo to this soon. Both my Pacific Blue and Stacked Wood are enroute from the USA, but due to the 4th July hols it seems things have halted for a couple of days.

Now, can you repeat your 'clock of knives' trick on your Kiwi collection ? :D

Paul,

That's super cool. That would make a neat clock. I hope they do it for ya.

Awesome pic Paul! The jigged bone is probably the one most appealing to me of the Kopas.

Thanks Peter, the blue bone is a very nice looking material, there's enough variation in color to make it interesting.

Something like that Daniel. Or at least the talk in combination with taking them all out to clean after receiving the new Pacific Blue Bone one, and deciding it might be a good time for a photo shoot.

Linda Karst does incredible work, here's a tighter shot of the owl....

And yes, after seeing how well the Kopa shot turned out, am considering doing one with some Kiwis. Difference is, "selection and placement" were easy with the Kopas - just use all 12 of them, and make their hand position the order of release. Picking and arranging 12 Kiwis will take more thought. :o

Hope your Stacked Wood and Blue Bone have arrived safely.

Thanks David, the clock turned out pretty well. Only "problem" is they only have one color of hands - black - so I have to get either some white or silver model paint and a small brush. Will take a shot of it once that's done.

It's a :spyder: "token" that was given out at the 2006 Spyderco show in Amsterdam. One of our Dutch members was kind enough to send it to me.

Thanks Karen, yes, that's the Turquoise one at 7.

Thanks Jano, of the "stock" ones, the jigged bone is pretty well tied with the cocobolo for my nomination for that title.

Walace, if it turned out as nicely as the CF Kiwi, it would be rather attractive.

Definitely one of the more "ruggedly handsome" handle materials the Kopa has been graced with...

I like the looks of the Girrafe Bone Kopa. Great pics Paul... is that from the light tent?

I really am salivating at the prospect of receiving my own GBP Kopa as well. I might see if I can get a couple of different 'shades' of the bone... maybe a lighter one, and then a more striated and darker version. Nice character to it, much like some stag horn you see.
Cheers
