Re: Show off your latest purchase
It’s a lil native with flytanium copper scales. The knife was awesome out of the box with G10, S30V blade, and compression lock but I wanted something a little different.

I gained a little knowledge. As it turned out, this knife is not a regrind blade. This is the 3rd generation version of Endura. The blade shape is slightly different than the Endura 4.JonLeBlanc wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 6:56 pmI presume it's the one in the middle? It still looks in good condition!
I use translator most of the time.
There was a link to the old Spyderco catalogs.

Very cool! It’s a sweet design, but those scales definitely kick it up a notch. :D Welcome aboard!FestinaLente wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2020 3:32 pmIt’s a lil native with flytanium copper scales. This beauty is a marvel that I thought was not going to be something that I would enjoy deploying when these first appeared in the catalog. I'm delighted to report that I was wrong. Even better is picking it up for a great discount.

Re: Show off your latest purchase
I had it in the back of my mind for quite some time now.
The opportunity arose, and I decided to just grab it.
Turns out I absolutely love this model and should've gotten one way sooner!
It's a unique design and a great gents folder for small cutting tasks around the house/office.
(really liking the art deco styling as well)

That's a terrific find. One of my secret joys is finding long discontinued Spydies. If they are perfect it's a nice bonus, but as I told vivi yesterday, finding used and abused models that I can bring back to life really make the most cherished users.

Thanks. Agree. I liked the look of it which is why I bought it. I also have an attraction for discontinued knives. I like to carry what I get and a slightly used one is better in that respect so this will probably just get looked at.
Still coming to grips with the Spyderco plethora. :)
