Picture is a bit fuzzy because I used my phone, but you get the idea. Used but perfect condition Forum Native, and brand new Lava...and got to meet a fellow forumite in person. Been a good day.

I figured that I needed a little one to open mail and such, since I have almost enough 3.5" :spyder: blades now. :) Image

I'm not addicted. I can quit whenever I want.
Time for another :spyder:!

One of the most attractive Spyderco models for me -- the SE makes it look even more Badass!

Thank you kindly, I love how the hamon line is more pronounced, took a while though. Tried polishing a ZDP Endura... By hand. Just couldn't give it, so I stonewashed it. Looks good now :) IMHO.

Very nice.
The carbon fiber that Spyderco uses with their bolsters + CF knives looks really great, particulary when it is lightly contoured. This irregular pattern is much more attractive to me than the very regular, squarish and finally "boring" patterns they usually use for their production knives.
I really would like to see more of this carbon fiber type on production knives.

+1
Polished G-10 isn't bad either, if it's slightly contoured

Nope, it was used and was actually in pretty bad shape. Lots of scratches on the bolsters, but the blade was fine.
It took my quite a bit of elbowgrease and some micromesh to remove the scratches and polish the bolsters.

Don't you love bringing one back from the dead? I must say you did a better job than I did on my latest Kiwi. I would hate to see mine in your lighting!

A gift from a friend of mine: a classic French knife with wonderful smelling scales made of juniper wood
