Nice grab on the Old School Military. That is my most prized military and it has become increasingly hard to find.

It's been a good week for me. Spyderco Zulu arrived on Wednesday and today I got a used Caly 3 Super Blue that pairs up nicely with the Cruwear Millie.

Nice trio. The top two have been my favorites lately, but I don't have a thing from Taichung. I like the Zulu, but it doesn't look very ambidextrous. I've adapted to left-hand closing with the Cru, but it might not work too well with the Zulu, but it might be worth giving up that luxury.

The Chokwe is cheap at several retailers right now, and is easy to use with either hand. It's a Taiwan Spyderco, and probably my favourite of all of my Spydercos. Superb fit and finish, and it's far more comfortable than it looks...really really comfortable. I prefer sharpening my leaf shape bladed Spydercos on the sharpmaker, but it's not too bad and I'm getting better.

Sierra Trading Post had it for $107.97 but I think the sale went off tonight. I haven't been drawn to it too much, but I used to like that sort of thing. I've noticed that everybody who has one seems to really like it. I'll try to take a closer look.

You guys are gonna keep on until you make me buy one of these. Nice looking new outer box! -- hope it doesn't encourage pilfering en route :)

As usual, your gun porn never gets boring. Is the finish on that M9 like a bead blasted stainless?

Thanks :D
Yes, It has a bead blast finish look to it. Beretta calls it there Inox finish. The slide is stainless, and the frame is aluminum.

Sharpening took me 45 minutes - no mirror relief though - Atoma diamond plates made quick work of it.
