Ok, thanks! It looks like heavy but I think it's not the case with the titanium and G10 handle. What's you opinion?

No, it isn't too heavy and it feels really nice in the hand. Personally I like the original SR-1 with the full-titanium frame better, wish Lionsteel would license the spydie-hole. Lionsteel eventually manufactures the SR-1 with an aluminium frame in different colours.

Got a Manix 2 Lightweight last week and I totally adore this thing. It looks cool beyond belief and feels really comfortable. It's a bit large for me but I get the impression it will shrink with time ;) A year ago I was still convinced a Delica was a large knife

I was going to post pictures of my brown para here but then I saw you already had some very nice examples. it's a great blade indeed, although I dont notice a lot of difference in steel with my all black para

sorry for the late reply! yeah I looked at the junglas, but wasint what I was after, its like 3 times the price for half the blade length. I'll probably pick up an esee 6 to accompany it at some point, but I really like the lite machete, the handle is awesome.

Dodo and Leafstorm arrived today

#1740

Post by DRH »

Got my Dodo today along with a Leafstorm. Was on the fence for quite some time about the Leafstorm. I was aware of the pros and cons and for many ... the cons outweighed the pros. All in all, however, I am quite happy with it. The only problem I had was with the jimping on the spine... it was really sharp ... especially drawing my thumb back. A little polishing with some 1500 grit sandpaper and all is fine.
