Out of character for me and Spyderco but my last purchase from them was a fixed blade.

I had no idea the Ladybug ever came with a "rescue" style blade like that. That is really cool.

First time I've ever had or even held a Stretch. Don't know why it took me so long but I'm really liking it. Have to thank phillipsted for pointing out that these are still for sale at KSF in a thread about week or two ago.

Mr.Porter, what are those two slim knives you got there?

They only made them for like 4 years. I got one before, this one came with the box and all.

Spyderco Goodness for Christmas

#1514

Post by SuzieQ »

Today was Spyderco day. Got two Spydies in the mail :-)

First one is a Tenacious that's going to my dad as a Christmas present. He's been asking for a 'good' knife. Good in comparison to his 5 bucks backlock knives from the supermarket. I'm pretty impressed by the heft of the tenacious. Looks really good fit and finish wise.

Image

Second one is a Delica ZDP that's for me, me, me :D

Image

What a lovely day :)
She: Did you say pink :spyder: sprint run?! - He: Yeah. - She: Wow, wouldn't this go great with my purple Delica?! - He: ? - :D

:spyder: Delica 4 FFG purple ::: Dragonfly Salt Yellow SE ::: Ladybug Foliage Green PE ::: UK Penknife Safety Orange G-10 ::: Byrd Robin G-10 PE ::: Delica 4 FFG pink - modded to non-locking ::: Squeak ::: Grasshopper ::: Kiwi - got snagged by the husband ::: Endura 4 FFG Orange ::: Delica ZDP-189 ::: Centofante 4 ::: Byrd Tern ::: Manix 2 Blue Lightweight :spyder:

Those are a couple of Kiridashi blades that a friend sent to me... I'm not sure of their make and model though to be honest... they may be customs for all I know. I love them though.

These arrived just in time for Christmas, which happens on the 24th in Germany.

Manix 2 Translucent Blue and a wonderful chamois cloth. The spyderbug on the cloth seems to have suffered a double amputation and looks more like a louse, I hate to say. However, the cloth works fine, removing fingerprints from my spydies.
