Wow Dan - MANIX MANIA!!!!!!! Nice haul and, as usual, great pics.

Very excellent Salsa shots you took there!

Regarding the Manixes, or is it Manii? :D , are you a knifedealer or something? ;)

Hey guys....no, not all for me (unfortunately :( ). I was organising a group buy for a bunch of Aussie Spydie fans. As postage to Australia is fairly expensive, a group purchase was the most logical way for all to save a few $ to be able to enjoy more Spyderco goodness in our daily diet :D

Only 1 from now on will be able to grace the presence of my future photography. The others left the building yesterday to meet their newly adopted parent :)
Cheers

Daniel,

Very nice pics. I love the shots of all 11 Mini's together. Those are sweet.

I still don't like foliage green much but I've never owned a Mini Manix and now that they have been discontinued it seems like something I should try and grab (in black of course). :)

David,

These aren't the Mini.... these are the Maxi :D
I still have to get a Mini myself. Will see how I go this year in getting one to add to my hoard.
:spyder: have been bringing out too many other 'distractions' for me and I seem to be faltering in keeping up with purchases :p

Dan,
All those Manii, Manixes, whatever they are called look awesome. Nice gesture for other knifebros, that means good knife karma coming your way! They look like soldiers lined up for a parade.

Thanks for the correction Daniel. I didn't catch that they were the full size Manix. ;)

They do look freakin' awesome though.

**** near broke my back lifting that USPS delivery box ! :D

Was even worse trying to setup the photos you see. Carefully placing a tank and getting it to stay in one position is amazing. The ones I setup on its edge kept falling down and my wife was fast approaching to find out what the thumping noise was :P

The locks on these are amazing. I only recently managed to find a black G10 Manix (thanks fireman ! :D ) and I may be mistaken but I think the new batch may even by a tad smoother and a touch stronger ???

For those who haven't yet got one..... go to it NOW ! Or else I might get another couple for myself.
Cheers

Manix is a great knife. One of my friends decided to change his last name to Manix :D :D
Manix kicked out Chinook out of his pocket. :(

OK guys,

I feel the pain and my neglect of this thread. As per many requests for my lazy bum to get off and do some work, here are a couple of very quick and nasty shots I took upon receiving this package today :D

I think I like it :) and I think it'll end up an EDC !

This giving us hope, that you will be back to business of photography soon.
May be other people will follow you as well (I will not name them, everybody knows, who I am talking about.) :D
You need to take a lot of new pictures before your new baby will be born.

come on Dan, these are nice pictures. I am glad that you finally got Black Lum. I really like this black almite handle.
By the way, did you get your custom Persian? :p

Thanks Roman :)

I have a few more pics which I am planning to do/ update. A few more Kopa coming in the next few weeks will get me up to speed with those as well (for the Kopa Kabana).

The Black Almite handles seem to be very nice indeed, the F&F on my Black Lum is seemingly flawless upon initial inspection. Blade in ZDP189 seems to also be as per normal for ZDP... maybe not as bright and sparkly as VG10, but it is to be expected of ZDP. I will use it and give a review a bit later.

Regarding Persian mini battalion, they are still residing with Brad (yes you read right...more than one ;) ). He assure me that he is tailoring new clothes for them and as per Brad's fashion he is meticulous in his attention to detail. He is proceeding nicely and hopefully he will be able to complete them in a little while. I'm not too worried because everything he does is magnificent... these won't be any different :D He's a bit busy right now but my patience is rock solid. You have to wait for masterpieces to evolve, can't rush the process :p

More pics to come later... maybe
