Thanks Rob! I used the light coming in from a southern exposure sliding glass door. It's too chilly to haul my knives outside this time of year for pic's so the door window will have to suffice until Spring. ;)

BTW, when the green delica is clipped in your pocket, does the brighter color make it more noticeable to others?
IIRC Spyderco SFO has some in stock.

You'll have to pay full MSRP though.

I think the early one's were put together with Endura handles and then later they started using one's that said Spyderhawk. ;)

Try here... http://www.defenseknife.com/c11sfg.html

In stock and ready to go. I just ordered a couple of other Spydies from them and they shipped out right away via UPS. It's nice to be able to track them online. :D

Yes, I agree and think that most likely a new :spyder: for EDC rotation is born :)

Felly, don't wait for next spring - try to use more than one light (1 x left, 1 x right, 1 x top) and play with white balance on your digicam. If you find your personal settings you'll be not depentend on the weather.

Great pics Felly :)

Now to start the wait for my Stretch :(

This might just be the perfect EDC and kick both the Millie and Caly3 out of my pocket while in the city :D

Is it just me or is that grind really that off center?

It is off a little. I'm glad you mentioned it as I needed an excuse to pull out my AUS-8 and do some comparison shots. As you can see from the pic's, both versions are off center a tad, so I can only assume it was planned that way and perfectly normal for this knife.

You'll notice there are some differences in these two variations and hopefully my pic's make them obvious. :)

Thank you very much for the comparison shots, Felly! I was waiting for them for a long time (I sold my C42 AUS-8 and replaced it with C42 VG-10), as I always have had the feeling the AUS-8 version has more classy. Now your pictures confirm my feeling. Thanks again!

Peter, I was surprised at how many differences there are between the two. If you look close, even the Micarta has different textures. If you like, I can keep an eye out for an AUS-8 for you. ;) :)

Yep, micarta on the clip side is quite different.

That is very good of you, but one C42 is enough for me and I'm not a huge fan of HV.
