Dan what model is that?

It is the second run of the C64 approximate date 2002 ,Meerkat . AUS6A steel and uses a Phantom Lock , also one the earliest knives to use a wire clip . There have been a couple of sprints in colors and steels .

The Q was the first wire clip and then the Meerkat and is also lefty /righty . Years ago I got a lot of free beers betting someone they couldn’t close it ! Fun times !

I actually got the Yojumbo and gave it a workout today . I found by trial and error the knife opens a little better if I place my thumb between 9:00 to 12:00 in the hole instead of in the 12:00 position . Seems to have less resistance but think there could be room for more improvement. Other than this issue this knife is just what I like in a large knife since the ergonomics work better in my left hand . Quite a refined beast !

That is the same for the OG techno i have you need to open it a specific way but on that one its either you open it that 1 way or you just can not open it at all.
Its indeed very nice beast! The only thing i do not like about it is the peel ply cf.
Spyderco in heavens name that is not worth the name CF!!
That does not even look like CF from a mile away.
