Ahhhhhh ! I need to breakdown and get a caged ball lock to complete my Manix group . A XL sprint or exclusive has been a holy grail for quite sometime. Thanks Dimi for posting the herd . Dan

You’re welcome but I’m afraid I’m not done yet still have my lw’s and my users to go :flushed In total i have 17 manixes :flushed I wish i could get more sprint runs but 99% of the sprints never get to europe.
And i am also to afraid to buy them in the US because of loss during shipping.
The only thing i get straight from the US are the spyderco catalogs and every year they get “lost” one year i had to order 6 catalogs from spyderco only to receive 1 :(

For the Xl i wish i could have bought the s90v cf sprint years ago. But like all the others i never found one around me. The XL is my favorite of the manix2 versions but it seems to never get any love from spyderco itself.

Even the normal manix2 seems to be a bit less favored against the LW version. And even though i have those and use them and i am even looking at a rex 45 sprint at the moment ( because the normal manix 2 rex 45 sprint ist sold here ) I do not love the LW as much because the Manix Core design for me is not a knife that is Light weight. I must say the manix 2 i just customized with brass scales is just crazy it weighs 8 ounces and feels so good it feels like my beloved first gen manixes now so i am not done with buying heavy aftermarket scales for sure :tonque-out

I’m the same way I prefer the lockback and the XL fits my hand so well . I wish I purchased the S90V myself .

Mike , noticed the yellow triangle on scales , is that to make it easier to locate in shop ? Really like how the Manix has aged from use . Dan

Not really. Yellow triangle wasn't intentional and certainly didn't help find me find it for the 11 days it was missing. This knife has had an interesting life and is one of my favorite work knives.

S110V is great for the humid summer days here.
