Decided to get a case for the knife. The Pelican 1170 case was about the perfect size. (Sorry for the fuzzy spots. It decided to start snowing as I took the pictures).

Quite the nice package. Maybe you should add this to your current catalog.

Thanks! Only problem is the case—or rather the cost of the case. 😆 It’d be hard to justify the cost, unless they’d sell them in bulk at a discount?

I get that, but put the knife in your catalog, break up all the folders with this fantastic fixed blade.

Oh I gotcha. Sorry, I thought you were referring to the case alone. Yes, I’ll likely plan on adding the JTR to my catalog. Need to get it added to my web site too.

Since my initials are JER you could, possibly, make a similar model and call it the JER-K.

Why's everyone laughing? It's JER Knife??

:rofl

Thanks Dan! It was a fun build. Yes, I would like to make more of these. Maybe try out a few other ideas on different handle textures too (now that I kind of have an idea of how it works, haha!)

Update: My younger brother made it home just in time for Christmas, which was awesome. We took him out to dinner to celebrate and then came back home to give him the new knife. He was so thrilled! This definitely made our Christmas a very special one indeed. :smlling-eyes
