Kentucky is really fumbling around as well, it's as if they're just not engaged. Wednesday we played one of the worst teams at home and let them shoot 52% from the field and 56% from 3. 13 offense rebounds is the only reason we won by 20. I would be surprised if we finished in the top 25 and finished higher than 4th in our own conference.

A lot can change by March though.

Your right, Larry. It really can.
My Heels made me a believer if that just last season. Ya never know, they just might win it all - if they can get something going.

I sadly feel the portal is going to water down teams to where will see fewer quality teams and a lot of street ball play . I not sure how Illini could pick up Clarke who was supposed to be one of the most coveted in the portal and not execute on the floor in the role he was supposed to play , oh and getting $500,000 to do it . Illini is a team that has taken one step forward and two backwards . They should have no place in the top 25 period . Conference play is coming and the team is in disarray. Sorry dumping , Dan

Yeah, imo - I don't feel they should be made to go to College for 1 season. Imo, that just killed College basketball.
My goodness, College basketball on the 90's compared to now is just day & night imo

Just my thoughts NCAA was having a meltdown seeing revenue loss when players were going directly into the NBA out of high school . So behind the scenes worked a deal that was acceptable to both parties . Very few high school players had the right stuff to go into a starting lineup if you think about it . One year in college only gave the NCAA a piece of the pie . I really think this was the beginning of the fiasco in college basketball now . Just my opinion and could be very wrong . Dan

The milk-toast Kentucky Wildcats got dismantled by Missouri on Wednesday and today play arch rival Louisville, the 2-11 Cards. Win or lose we fall from the top 25.

Missouri has a really good team this year and have that dog in them, hopefully UK learns from that beating and grows, but this being are most veteran team under Cal im not holding my breath.

Missouri spanked Illini . They have some good veterans and play good team ball . I played a mid tier Div 1 team this week Clarke was out and Harris looked fantastic . Illinois are going to be an ongoing project this year .

Illini got bumped by Missouri loss and they deserved it . Conference starts and they better get it together .

Mo beat both teams from start to finish and they look pretty solid. Conference play starts for us Tuesday against a 12-1 LSU team, so we better get it together.

Paul, we're drawing too much iron from our bluebloods. 😀

I think Illini thought it was going to be a piece of cake . Mo got spanked by Kansas and schedule not strong .Mo gave them a big lesson .

Loss to Northwestern 73-60 last night , a team we have beaten 11 times in a row . They won on foul shooting since neither team could make a basket but were great at tacky foils . Pitiful, again no floor leadership just playing for themselves, disgraceful . Underwood has already tweaked the offense and defense in desperation and no response, just me me me . If I was him I would close the gym doors and tell them no need to practice you have already blown the season . Their $500, 000 wonder boy Clark is useless , Shannon is the only bright spot .The whole team is a mess and wonder if this year will be Underwood’s last . Sorry for rant , Dan

Well, the $500,000 portal star Clark bailed out for rest of season . Sounds like Epps may take over as guard and hope Underwood can turn this talented team around . So much with portal . Dan
