Beat Syracuse who are not very good this year . Illini had only two turnovers at halftime . Second half blew game open , Hawkins had a double triple . Maryland is coming up and like Virginia don’t have much confidence , still to many fouls . Dan

Illini lost by 5 at Maryland . We tied them twice in second half but couldn’t close the door . Sad when Maryland shot 50% first half down to 30% second half we couldn’t take to next level .Too many turnovers at critical times and not taking advantage of uptempo . They are showing some progress just not consistent. Dan

The after game interview with Coach Underwood was brutal.I can’t imagine what practice has been like after the big loss . We have a lot of talent but only one upperclassman . Dan

I feel your pain guys . Illini won today looks good on paper at the score but way too many turns, poor free throw shooting , and ragged offense . Missouri is next and really not expecting much . Dan

I tell ya Dan, I know we've or I have said this before, but college basketball has changed so much....

The portal has and is having negative effect. Sure guys bail but have to learn new systems , players and the coach . All this should be cultivated, I can see it with a Illini , all sorts of talent and no leadership on the floor . Nobody knows their role . Dan

Bragging Rights Game tonight ! Illini vs. Missouri. Illini finally got a highly rated player with possible NBA future from France finally cleared to play . I hope he gets some minutes tonight . Dan

Well, I was gonna ask what happened last night but, I caught myself.
Carolina was the pre-season #1 team and fell completely out of the top 25 in short order
It's a crazy college basketball we have now
But, did the player from France get any minutes, Dan?

We got totally shelled last night another debacle 93-71 . We played like a high school team , terrible. We had over thirty turnovers in the game which pretty much tells the story . I think they came in with their heads swelled again thinking they going to walk over Missouri but their experience playing together showed . No after game interview pretty much says it all for how Underwood felt about it . Kid from France did not play as far I know , he is proud wondering if he made the right decision 😂 ! Dan

I hear ya buddy. 30 turnovers will do it.
But, ya also know that the team can find their groove if they keep at it and really make a run
