Brother Paul, both our teams are in the top 5 preseason, so it will definitely be interesting come March!

Not sure how good UK will be by then but they "seem" better than last year. Probably only go as far as Oscar takes us...

Sorry for the LATE reply, brother Larry ..... ya know man, your absolutely right 😃
& as crazy as this sounds, the fun is over for me now.....lol, yup. See, in seasons past where we never really ranked that high, I didn't get too worked up about winning the Big Dance. But, now being Pre-Season #1 I'm sweating it like hellll, lol!
I'll take ANYTHING other than another National Championship LOSS. I really can't stand those

For me it's the 1st round exits! Relatively new hurt as a Cats fan, but it jumped right to the top. Haha

Then my Dodgers laid an egg, so I don't know what's worse 🤦‍♂️

Playing Howard without 2 starters tonight and it's rather ugly. Hopefully all the nerves get flushed out.

Whole new look of players and style of play for Illini nor sure what to expect . Without Kofi this team will be more uptempo, hope they are deep enough to run with the big dogs . Dan

Anyone catch the Gonz vs. MSU game ? MSU came close to an upset lost by one point with missed shot at buzzer . Quite the battle , like a final four game . Illini had second win last night playing another mid major team . They got off to a slow start and won 86-48:against UMKC . Bench looks good for their style of play , Monmouth and then UCLA coming up for a real test to measure.

Dan, I missed the Zags and MSU game , but UK Plays them both soon with MSU on Tuesday. Kentucky isn't filling me with a lot of confidence but that may change once we play better competition AND we get back Oscar Tshiebwe.

Didn't realize we played Duquesne yesterday and only stumbled upon it.

MSU gave the Zags a rough time . MSU will be a good gauge for UK to see where they are at . Illini have not seen anyone really tough yet UCLA will definitely be their first test . Dan

Thanks Dan, the last few minutes were hard to watch! Supposedly, our most veteran team under Cal, yet looked confused and uncoached when you needed it the most...Better coached team won.

Long time until March.

I have to agree , I think UK thought MSU was going to be a push over get a lead and runaway holding it . MSU is tenacious, fight to the buzzer attitude. After the Zaga game I thought to myself Izzy is definitely on a mission this year and his expectations are clear . Still early , UK is too talented to fade away , hopefully it will be a good lesson. Friday Illini plays UCLA and hope they realize they won’t get away with sloppy play like they have with 30 point wins . They play with their big boy pants on . Dan

Illini beat UCLA 76-66 last night, took them out of their half court game . Baylor is going to be their biggest test yet and see a loss coming . I’m predicting they come home 1-1 for the weekend . Dan

We ended up playing Virginia and showed our youth . Way to many turnovers and fouls , finally caught up with them late second half. Part of growing pains .
