You know Dan, I really do feel like Tennessee is on the right track. A few years down the road they may legitimately challenge Alabama for the SEC/National Championship

I'm very surprised to see Alabama drop in the polls. I honestly saw the A&M game as a major demonstration of depth. They were playing a good team, and doing it with an injured backup QB. And still they won.

I'm very interested to see how the Alabama-Tennessee game goes next weekend.

Georgia looked reasonable in the second half (and lousy in the first) and I honestly can't see how the AP voters justify moving them ahead of the Tide. That's especially true after their last two (mediocre) showings.

I agree Tom. Even with it being a home game, Alabama showed just how strong & deep they are. Texas A&M is a very good team.
Lol, I honestly feel that UGA is just bored right now.
They'll really click when they need to 😉

No, only the defense was strong for Alabama. The offense, led by a QB that froze up every time he needed to pass, was horrible and not like Bama at all. They nearly got beaten by a team not up in the rankings. That they survived was through no fault of their own. They should have lost. I am a Bama fan, but facts is facts, as they say.

That was a fantastic game! I got up at 4:00am to watch it and the game did not disappoint! Bama and TN were evenly matched, even with Bryce Young back in as QB. It was tit for tat all the way until the last 2 seconds and TN won with a field goal! That was the best game I've seen in I don't know how many years.

Man, it feels soooooo good to see Tennessee back! They just continue to roll.
But, next week will be an even taller order than the Alabama game. Especially going to Athens between the hedges. But, if Tennessee can hang over 50 points on Alabama then I gotta believe they can beat Georgia as well. It's gonna be a great game either way.

I love the new black helmets with the black uniforms. This combo is a keeper.

I think TN should be at least #2 and maybe #1. OH St had trouble with Penn St. and for a while FL Gators were worrying GA, and FL is not a highly ranked team.

I think that lots of people are waiting for that question to resolve itself next week in Athens.

Dan, I agree. They defeat Alabama- then roll right over UK. & all what else you said is correct!
Yeah, Tennessee should be #1.

Not a Tennessee fan, but, the game against UK was probably the most complete game by any team this year. They just dominated in everything. I am happy for Heupel as I think he is a good coach and a good guy.

It's nothing short of amazing what he is doing at Tennessee. Heath Shuler & Peyton Manning, from what I understand were just in awe of how the players have totally bought into the system.
