I think the best game (from a quality of game perspective) was probably Florida-Utah. Hard fought, down to the wire, great drives, stunning finish...that game had it all.

A heartbreaker for Utah. There are three things that can happen when you pass the ball, and two of them are bad.

Oh man, they had Utah ranked 7th
Still, imo it shouldn't hurt the Utes too awfully bad.
Florida is still Florida. & good for the Utes not scheduling a cake walk the first game if the season. Utah, travelling of all the places in the world to the Swamp with all that stifiling heat and humidity to llay their 1st game and put their top 10 ranking on the line. That should carry tremendous weight imo

Yeah, that was crazy. That LSU kicker was really having a hard time and so was the kick return.

That game was just a comedy of errors, from beginning to end. Neither team deserved to win. They both looked awful.

I have a student in the class I started yesterday who is wearing Texas Longhorns gear constantly. I've already expressed my condolences to him for what's going to happen to his team this week.

Does anyone else think that Sarkisian looks like neither a Texan nor a football coach?

Holy Cow! App State @ Texas A&M!
App State is **** on wheels on the road.
But, I gotta worry about my Mountaineers this game. Ole Jimbo may very well be sitting on a National Championship team this year.....they had one heckuva recruiting class....gonna be very interesting to watch!

Man, everyone knows but, Nick Saban so understands the game of football!
Alabama just consistently kills teams with those incredible offensive lines that they have!
The game is won in the trenches many more time than not. ( in college football- the N.F.L. they're all **** good )
But, yeah Bama will just wear most oppents down save a very darn few like Georgia, Ohio State, LSU...and sometimes they even wear those teams down. It's just pure **** trying to battle a truly superior offensive line.

Lol, PRICELESS!!
Bama breaks a huge run in the 1st quarter, and the very moment I Bragg about Bamas o line they wind up turning the ball over in 4th down!
So hope Sark & Texas wins this game!
It won't hurt Bama that bad.

Alabama nearly beat themselves! 15 penalties for over a hundred yards! They did pull it out in the end.

App State did so much for the program yesterday!
Besides beating Texas A&M & getting paid $1.5 million just to come to College Station - now, College Game Day will be in Boone next weekend!!
That's about 30 minutes from where I live (lol, or used to be traffic is worse now a days) I may just have to attend it!!

You must drive really fast and like a crazy man if you can drive from Asheville to Boone in 30 min! On those twisty, windy, roads, I remember it taking longer.

Dan, I haven't lived in Asheville for 7 years! Lol
The wife & I came back to our home area in 2015
They say Asheville has changed quite a bit since then...

My Aunt, Uncle, and cousin are buried in Asheville at the Baptist place. My wife and I lived in Boone for a while, too. Beautiful up there.

Thanks, Dan. Ya know, Asheville - heck, all that area is very beautiful. I really miss Asheville in ways and in some ways, I don't.
Up here beside Boone, we have just the best Summer Time weather anywhere in the Southeastern United States imo. It's just so bloody hot anywhere ya go off the mountain.
But, that's neither here nor there, I reckon, lol
Gonna be very cool having Herbie and the Crew up here!

Well fellas, Nebraska has fired Head Coach, Scott Frost.
Can't really say that I blame them either.
Georgia Southern had 642 yards of offense in a 45-42 win in Lincoln, yesterday.
