Nice post, Nick!!
Ya know, I was listening to Mad Dog Sports today as I always do (XM82) at that time it was Danny & Dusty but, this one guy called in and said something I thought was just brilliant!
Something that would really set the Leagues asss on fire 🔥 if most people follow suit......he said, " I've learned one very valuable lesson from last night's game & that is to NEVER bet any more money on N.F.L. games!! " lol, he said it just wasn't worth it when you have to consider the refs......that wouldn't in any way risk his money with them.....now, of everyone followed suit and got the gambling world against the N.F.L. that would be BAD! That gambling is a huge business!
I just thought that was a brilliant comment....

I used to wonder why the league doesn’t do anything about the bad officiating but I now realize it’s actually not bad - it’s intentional and setup exactly how they want it.
It's really nothing new though. I have seen the refs cheat to help the Packers over the Lions to help them make the playoffs since the 80's. It gets so bad they have had to give the zebras a police escort out of the area to keep them safe at times. I recall in one case the refs just made up a rule on the spot to get a flag and overturn a first down play. It got bad enough they had to start fining and threatening teams for criticizing officiating and the league.

Look for it at times they need to stop a drive or invalidate a turnover. They have to take chances and be obvious at times. The refs are older and easier to rely on their keeping their mouth shut than some 22 to 26 year old kid who isn't even grown up yet. Controlling refs is much safer.

It’s official, the greatest quarterback the league will ever see, Thomas Patrick Edward Brady Jr., is retiring from football!

Even though this season has really done a lot to change my perception of the league, I still appreciate the incredible moments and unmatched legacy Tom Brady created with the New England Patriots!

Truly the greatest to ever do it! It was an honor to be able to watch his entire career. They should rename the NFL Hall of Fame after Tom Brady to honor his legacy and what he accomplished in this league!

Nice!

Man, it really does seem that TB12 is done this time. Although, I really hope he changes his mind. Heck, I would really love to see him in 4 possible places if he does - which he won't but, what the heck, let's have some fun smile 😄
Pittsburgh Steelers - because they've always been my team 😃
The New England Patriots- would be really be awesome to see him finish his career where it began....
The San Francisco 49'ers- he could go home to play his last year
The Las Vegas Raiders- as with San Francisco, he would have a legitimate shot at an 8th ring

Well boys, an Eagles vs Chiefs Superbowl is pretty lame. But I’ll probably still watch. Hoping for the first superbowl tie 0-0 lol.

For real!?!? Hope everything is well with you and yours SG. Your missed presence has been noticed around the forum! Feels like we've got the old gang back in here now. Though Joe has been very quiet!

Yeah I’m back, thanks for the well wishes. Joe has got to be excited for his Chiefs! Although I am surprised there aren’t any active eagles fans on this forum. Wish there was so the trash talk could be more fun lol.

I guess it's some kind of Psych test (do you see two faces or a vase ?) whether you spot the more obvious game fixing in sports over time.

I remember seeing some ugly Baseball, Basketball, Football, and even men's gymnastics at the Olympics. Probably a lot of stuff I missed too.

I think the on line gambling is causing a lot more of it these days.

Lord Brady will be back on a team around July or August I'm certain. I can think of 3 teams that would like to have him for a year or so. I think he's wanting to break George Blanda's old record of 47 years old in the NFL. And BLANDA was good up to the day he did retire for good. I heard that the Cowboys might have interest in Lord Brady. They sure can't get nothing done with Dak. Jerry J. is getting desperate.

I bet the Pats would even like to have him for one last go-around. His lordship will be back in September I'm sure. I sure hope Sir Patrick Mahomes can pull off one more miracle this season. Philly is going to be a tough one though. The KELCE, Andy Reid Bowl.

I don’t think so, I believe he’s really done this time. I just can’t see any team leveraging their future for just one more year with Brady. There were reports yesterday that his decision came down to either returning to Tampa or retiring and he was clearly checked out and done with Tampa, which left him with one option.

Joe man, ya gotta be happy man - I think yall are gonna win this one.
I feel Patty Mahomes will have a great game.
I tell ya, it's hard not to like Patrick Mahomes
He's already won yall one Super Bowl already & he's only 27! You got so much to look forward to as a Cheifs fan Joe...

Welp, I didn't even try callin Doggie this year fir a chance at getting tickets for Super Bowl 57
The questions are super hard anyways.....but, Doggie is the best imo....who the heck else even goes to the trouble of offering the common folk a chance at just buying Super Bowl tickets much less free tickets, Air Fare & lodging.....at least a $10,000 package
I'll vote for Chris Russo any day 😎

I hate that I really don't have much interest in this game this year, besides if my numbers hit. Should be a great game, I was just hoping for a handful of other possible matchups.
