110% agree with everything yiu said, Larry.
Especially that Seattle debacle....loss like that can be absolutely devastating!
But, if any team can probably crawl back....it may be the Mariners.

Surprised they've not canceled it after this long. Gotta be hard on pitchers with that kinda wait.

I think they mentioned the chance of starting it at 730 - hopefully anyways.

My son in law was friends with Wright in HS so I hope he does well tonight.

Hopefully Kershaw does too...

Well Larry, the Braves just pitched lights out tonight. I think the Phillies had 3 hits all night
Now, I'm watching your Dodgers play the Padres
Man, would I ever LOVE to see a game at Dodger Stadium!
I've been to the old Jack Murphy to see the Padres play the Cardinals back in '93 and I loved it. .the West Coast weather is just so wonderful imo.

Chavez ravine is on my bucket list for sure. Kyle goes 6 on 2 hits, I'll take that all day long. Having a bullpen just as effective is a mandatory this time of year. We left Kimbrel off the roster and he's one of the best all time, head not right is a bad mix for playoff games.

Man, the Braves really put the screws to Philly last night. The most dominant pitching I've saw so far. They gave up a grand total of 3 hits all night

Lol, dam. I knew there was a chance that the Phillies would win but, I didn't think we would get annihilated!! My goodness... Braves are in MAJOR trouble

Tough luck tonight Paul, those Braves ran into a buzz saw.

Ya know Larry, it used to be called "Late Night with Roy" - and this year it was the last week of September- but, the wife says 24 days until our first game. I'm really anxious to see how we play this year. Keep wondering if last year was just a fluke. But, I can't take anymore losing these National Championships....especially when up by double digits at the half. Lol....

Definitely hurts losing games like that, just like losing to Cinderella >:[

We should have a really good team this year and it's a veteran team. Never said that about a Cal team before. We played like 6 games in the Bahamas and it was quite encouraging, didn't count but gives great team building.

It's just so incredibly hard to win it all, Larry
It's like the Dodgers, reel off 111 wins this season, clearly the best team in baseball (of course, its not over for the Dodgers- not by a long shot) - or like Atlanta when they won 14 NL East Pennants in a row & only had 1 World Series to show for it.....it's just takes everything lining up just right it seems....
