I have seen this happen so many times after a monster game the next game the balloon pops. Let’s face it Phillies are in a must win situation this next game , they have to have an edge going back to Houston . Dan

Baseball is such a funny, quirky game. The Phil's hit 5 home runs Tuesday night and then get no-hit last night!

I'm with you Dan, advantage = Astros!

Last night was an incredible performance by the Houston pitchers - to say the least.
Philadelphia was on 🔥
Tonight will be super interesting!

Well, in a Series that I really believed that Philadelphia would win, Houston has came back to take a 3-2 advantage as they travel back to Houston for games 6 & 7.
Philadelphia's bats have went cold.
Not to mention they were swinging at balls all night! That crappy high cheese Verlander was throwin they couldn't lay off of to save their lives.....sorry, rant over lol

Phillies had their chances last night but could not convert runs . They stranded nine on base by sixth inning which is sad when playing at home . Got to hand it to Baker sacrificing first game to strengthen pitching rotation with a day off . I have to be sadly honest don’t see Phillies digging out of this hole at Houston. Dan

Tell ya what fellas, what yall said is 1000% accurate.
But, ya just never really know in baseball.....I have a feeling that the Phillies are gonna be a tough out, especially when they are the visiting team. This Series could very well go either way imo.

Dan, your right. Last night was a monumental collapse by the Phillies. They should've beat up on Verlander worse than they did in Game 1.
It was a pathetic display last night imo.
I really believe that combined no hitter in game 4 rattled the heck out of em.
Before that the Phillies were a juggernaut with post season dark horse magic!
It's just gonna be an epic collapse or a Series for the Ages imo.

If I were Jeremy Peña I think I’d go ahead and retire after tonight!

Best team won, Astros pitching staff, and especially their bullpen are just ridiculous!

My father used to take us to baseball games. He was one heck of an athlete and played quite a few sports as well as coached an inner city basketball team to a championship many moons ago.

I never caught on with baseball. I tried but by the time I got involved, many had already had well developed skills.

I've watched a few of these games and they are good. The players are nothing but the best! It is entertaining to see the best out there doing it.

I have to give credit to the Astro pitching staff shutting down the Phillie lineup . Wish it was a different outcome in many ways , but that is baseball . Dan

Would it be possible to change date on title or do we need to start new thread ? Dan
