The siege of egrets did such a good job on the cloud of grasshoppers

We have our Nuthatch variety in our backyard daily . Really like to watch them go down a tree upside down. Very busy bird constantly searching for bugs . Hummingbirds are started to migrant we noticed a big drop in activity last night. We may start to reduce the amount of feeders in next few days .

Well, thank you. My place is too small to make a living,
so I just try to make it worth living.
The cows are what people call country cows or woods cows.
Small to medium, short haired and light colors do better in the heat down here.
A bull that looks black angus with a pedigree by Truck out of Crockett
shares the herd with a registered Longhorn bull, Phenomenon Rio.
Longhorns are considered to be pasture ornaments but I like them.
As one of my neighbors said about being a cattleman, it's the romance.
Here is another pastoral picture of the cattle egrets and their sponsors.
When the cattle lie in the shade and chew their cud
the cattle egrets stay with them.
I'm considering applying for a government grant to see if egrets
stay with the same cows year after year.
You know. Explore the symbiotic relationship.
Two million dollars over a ten year period should answer the question.
Beats shrimp on a treadmill.
Or it could just be the beer talking.
