Yesterday, a bald eagle took off over my naked Jeep.
No picture. Rare to see one on my place.
Didn't mean to disturb it. Did not see it in the tree.

Our Eagle population is getting solid through the river bottoms . They occasionally fly over our house and and common to see roosting in trees by the river . I have not seen a nest yet , I’m sure they are in secluded spots . Dan

Can you spot him? I was standing in my canoe when I saw him.

I *think* I see something black in the center of the photo, between the thicker tree in the foreground and the thinner one behind it to the right. But I'm pretty sure it's a case of pareidolia for me. It looks like a black toad baring its teeth (but I'm sure toads don't have "teeth."

So I guess you've got me 'stumped.'

🙂

That "toad" you saw is creature in question. I saw it as well, but I had to zoom in after saving the photo. I won't give it away in case people are still playing at home. :shush

I had to save the pic and then zoom on the spot I thought it was at. I was right but without blowing the pic up I could not say much other than I need glasses...
Funny, when I do zoom in the snake gets this googly eye look and looks pretty funny.

Great picture. Don't know that I've ever seen one so... translucent?

The mating habits of the praying mantis remind me of my own.
Have sex one time and then get your head bitten off.
