Yes, Happy Waterfall Wednesday!
This is Raven Cliffs in Georgia. The waterfall is behind 2 cliffs. You can climb through or up to see a better view, but this is the main view.

I've been crazy busy at work and somehow even missed the last photo of the week but even though it's late I'm not going to miss Waterfall Wednesday... glad to see its gaining momentum. Mine is from central Pennsylvania this week.

The Sierra Nevada Mountains contain some of my favorite landscapes. This is one of the wilderness lakes on the way up Piute Pass on the eastern side of the range.

Just the bedrocks. I had some Merrell minimalist shoes, but the quality is not there anymore. Currently sporting Ultras with the zero drop and wide toe box. I do want to get some minimalist sandals that are nicer looking and not for hiking. I'll hike anything with those sandals as long as it is warm. I have some pics of me spidermanning a couple of rock walls with those sandals when I was out west in the MNOSD thread. Somewhere towards the latter part of that thread. I sung their heavenly praises.

i have some altras for when i'll be on my feet all day or hiking with weight, but i usually wear xeroshoes prios or the bedrocks for everything else. if i need a little more protection, i might wear keens, but i've worn my previous pairs out and probably won't be replacing them. i also wore out a pair of five fingers from back before they were popular. i may replace those someday. i really like to feel the ground as much as is practical when i can't be barefoot.

Yes Altras not Ultras. I have looked at Xero. I think I may get the lighter Bedrocks as a casual pair. I love them.

Tropic Ditch Falls. That is a good one. The one I posted today is Mingo Falls. Should be pretty close to your neighborhood. Visited that one, yet?

That's awesome! I couldn't remember the name of those falls. Impressive you did.

I don't recall Mingo Falls. As a kid, I spent a lot of time in the summers in Franklin, NC and riding up to Cherokee. Pretty close to Mingo.

Those are some great waterfall shots Mike and Jeff! I'm disappointed with myself for missing Waterfall Wednesday..

So since I missed it, here's one that isn't quite a waterfall... more like cascading water. A pretty view nonetheless. :smlling-eyes
